Digital Divorce Navigation is the middle ground

Oregon Divorce Mediation Services offers various services for divorcing couples. An Uncontested Divorce is for a couple who really just need the court to sign the divorce decree. One Day Divorce is appropriate for couples who cannot agree how to resolve their differences, but do not want to go to court.

Digital Divorce Navigation is the middle ground. It is designed for couples with assets and liabilities and perhaps children who agree but need some assistance to complete the complicated documentation the courts require. Digital Divorce Navigation meets that need.

Digital Divorce Navigation offers a series of online questionnaires that a couple can complete together. It will guide a couple towards completing the divorce with the most common options available to couples. For example, if a couple owns a home, it will take the couple through the various options: sell the home now or in the future, one spouse buys the other out, or one partner leaves the home without receiving any share of the equity. The questionnaires will ask the pertinent question for each option.

Digital Divorce Navigation is not available if there are multiple homes, a business, or 401(k) or pension type retirement accounts to be divided. It is not available if there are more than $250,000 in net assets. Both parties must agree to the process.

Once the questionnaires are completed, the court documents are prepared for review and e-signed and filed with the court.

Digital Divorce Navigation is available for couples with relatively simple estates who just need a little more guidance and can work cooperatively to resolve their differences. If your situation is too complex for an uncontested dissolution of marriage, Digital Divorce Navigation may be the option you are looking for.

Digital Divorce Navigation is available either as a stand alone or with an attorney consultation option.
